Himalayan Mint Essential Oil, Mentha arvensis
Nepal

A unique mint, with prominent herbaceous notes, known as wild mint in the Terai region of Nepal, that is extremely refreshing cooling.

Distilled from the freshly cut Mentha arvensis and having a menthol content of over 70%, this organic Himalayan mint oil is extremely refreshing and cooling, with prominent herbaceous notes. Also known as Wild Mint, this variety is thicker and more intense than a true peppermint. It is widely used in Ayurvedic cooking and health promoting formulas for digestive balance.
Common mints are well known for a dramatic effect on the body and mind. In the body, mint is particularly well-suited for opening the breath. Add a few drops of mint to a massage oil or lotion and apply after a yoga session or enthusiastic hike. This regular practice will promote a cooling comfort.
In the mind, mint powerfully sharpens mental focus by removing dullness. As a cooling oil, mint is effective for taking the edge off of tension in the head. Diffuse mint whenever you experience feelings of anger and irritation. Cool and clearing, mint stimulates mental agility and improves concentration. It is also effective against worry, grief and heaviness. To help create a productive environment, keep mint on hand next to your office diffuser.
Mint is great to add to your hair care routine as it nourishes and balances a dull, oily scalp. It is commonly used in dental care due to its effective and refreshing properties.
